RETROSPECT – TO LOOK BACK AND PONDER ON THE EVENTS GONE BY
Retrospect – To Look Back and Ponder On the Events Gone By
Dear Younger Self,
Retrospect. (To look back and ponder on the events gone by)
We tend to lose ourselves in the everyday rut so easily…never taking a moment to sit back and reflect. You’ll be taught to keep moving forward and not look back. They’ll ask you to ‘chase’ relentlessly.
But you will discover that self-reflection, hindsight, think time… me-time…all of these will be the eureka moments. Time spent with yourself will give you the gift of the most beautiful revelations…insights and ‘aha’ moments. They will give you the answers.
Loneliness, you will understand, can be a beautiful thing. Looking back is a powerful weapon, if used well.
So make the time. Get used to your company. Be gentle: be kind and listen. Make it a habit to learn from the past. It has the power to change your present and your life.
