Our Sewa to The Guru’s Home
Our Sewa to The Guru’s Home
Recently, I had the privilege of creating a set of 6 wall arts for Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Siliguri . The 6 quotes were picked out bearing in mind that they be relatable to anyone who views them.
All were accompanied by their English transliterations & translations, so one could read them irrespective of whether they could read Gurmukhi.
I’m really grateful for the Siliguri Gurdwara Committee for giving me the opportunity to be of Sewa to my Sangat. It has indeed been a delight to watch the artworks come alive on the beautiful marbled walls of our Guru’s home.
As I stood there, looking at these pieces, I couldn’t help but think of this line from the Granth Sahib:
“Kaho Nanak Sab Teri Vadheyaee Koi Nao Na Jaane Mera.”
“Says Nanak, this is all your greatness; No one even knows my name.”
Waheguru…Waheguru…Waheguru
