5 things I learnt from My Brother
5 things I learnt from my brother:
- Men can be kind, warm, emotional and nurturing. AND still be men. Still be great’s dads, husbands and brothers. They can still be masculine. And they can still earn respect.
- The need for people’s approval is your own kind of insecurity. Especially for women. Be comfortable in your own skin. You never truly achieve happiness/ success if you don’t embrace who you are.
- Being simple is no small matter. The key is to be not simple headed when it comes to being educated and informed. Read a lot, think about what you read and frame your opinions.
- Decisions must be made with absolute thought and clarity. It’s okay to talk to people, discuss and then go with your instincts.
- Life is better with goals and purposes. Start early in your journey to discover what you want and who you want to be and you’ll hopefully get there someday…or at least rest easy knowing you tried your best.
Thank you Dear Veere, for being the best mentor I could have ever asked for…!
