“Darshan”, The artwork, is a tribute to The Guru and The Disciple. It is the very pure and sanctified yearning for Union with The Supreme Power.
This piece is another exploration in the spiritual art series of The Quote Potpourri. After “Guru Di Sangat” This is my second artwork in the series.
My inspiration for this piece was this very beautiful shabad I’ve been hearing from early childhood:
“Deho Daras Sukh Daateya
Main Gall Vich Leho Milaaye Jeeyo”
“Grant me the blessed vision of your Darshan, O Giver of Peace. Please take me into Your Embrace.”
